String Meytar - About Us

String Meytar LTD was established by Daniel Akiva in 1994 in order to market high quality guitars in direct marketing.

Among of large number of distinguished Luthiers  we chose two - Antonio Picado and Vicente Sanchiz as the company's Luthiers. .

During the years from 1994 and 2000, String Meytar has been marketing Antonio Picado's guitars in Israel and in the U.S.A. further more, a special relationship was established between the head of the company - Daniel Akiva and Mr. Antonio Picado - which led them both to develop and improve some new features for the guitar - starting from small details and adding some special extras which improve the quality and the volume of the sound.

Beside the marketing of musical instruments String Meytar deals in producing special guitar concerts - thus bringing guest artists from abroad as well as from Israel: soloists and versatile chamber groups for the guitar.
